CONFIRMED. I just logged on. The char I was most recently playing is in Olafstead where I left her last night. I'm the only one there right now (AD1) and the ping button is veering from red to yellow and back again, but GW is up and running again. (EDIT: Ping is now green at 110ms, I'm in Eye of the North, and people are beginning to show up again.)

Managed to get into American districts with 2-5k pings. No luck getting into European districts though.

I'm the only one from my guild on right now, but alliance chat and local chat are in working order. Faction data just reloaded a couple minutes ago and the various Kurzick and Luxon outposts are now back under the control of various alliances.

I'm not noticing any major differences. Seems like they only changed the american district servers. After some running in out of the isle of the nameless it seems the euro servers are identical and it the new american servers aren't better or worse than the old ones. Don't know how they will hold up when some strain is put on them but yeah, not like the old ones were that awesome.

Unbearable for me.
High pings constantly, and have already been disconnected three times already. Guess we downgraded so GW2 could use the "good" servers? |
